What’s New in the 2022 Buick Encore?

Buick added a new turbo engine to the Encore. The Encore houses a 1.4-liter turbocharged 138-horsepower engine, which generates 12 percent more horsepower and 20 percent more torque than the 2021 engine. Furthermore, the Encore’s HVAC system was upgraded to include an electric heater, and new driver and front passenger seat-back map pockets provide additional storage options.

The interior of the Encore is tastefully decorated with quality soft-touch materials. There is plenty of space throughout. The Encore boasts 48.4 cubic feet of maximum cargo space with folding second-row seats. A 7-inch diagonal touchscreen comes standard. It offers a host of features including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay®. The cabin is surrounded by triple door seals and acoustic laminated glass in the windshield helps reduce, block, and absorb unwanted noise.

The exterior of the Encore comes with standard 18” aluminum wheels with technical gray pockets, premium LED lighting, and an available power moonroof.
